The last week has been an adventure. Ausden Inc is moving to Downtown Nashville on Forth Ave! We are overwhelmed with God's blessings and opportunity for us. We continue to pray as our life unfolds in building a business and keeping it real with life, work, and balance. We managed to work the Nashville Flea Market, finish a custom vanity job ,and nurse a sick child back to health this week with God's grace. Our friends and family have a beautiful way of wrapping wings around us when we are in need, so we can still fly. The best part about it all was that we met Mike. Austin prefers to call him "Micheal". Mike is a native Nashvillian who works the Flea Market once a month helping vendors load and tie up lose ends. This week Mike went from being a nice gentleman that helps Ausden Inc, to a forever friend. He has 11 grand children and rich wisdom! As he was helping us load, he mentioned his time frame for catching the bus in time to make his night shift that evening. Ausden Inc took Mike home. We discussed a lot about life in that thirty minute car ride. Austin told him how Old McDonald has stinky underpants, and Mike laughed as I rep remanded Austin on appropriate car conversation with new friends. Mike told me he has to leave home two hours early everyday for work in order to take the two buses he rides to make it to work on time at night, and when it is a flea market weekend he goes right from the night shift to work the flea market without any sleep. "It's all about what you get used to he says, you just have to plan ahead." As our days get tough, our nights seem long, and our bodies are tired we think about Mike, and how his helpful spirit twinkles in Ausden Inc's eyes!
